How to completely empty a hand cream tube

It really bugs me how much hand cream is left in the tube when it appears to be empty!

What I do to get every little bit of cream out is this:

Cut about a third down from closed end of the tube and then cut another piece out, so you are effectively cutting an inch out the centre.

Then wipe your finger clearing out any left over cream and scrape it back into the bit with  the lid.

Discard the middle bit and place the end back over the tube. It keeps the cream nice and fresh and stops it drying out.

If your finger wont reach inside the tube to the bottom, just cut another slice out.
