Colin I thought of you when I pulled the mag off the shelf…..it is getting a bit ridiculous now, wouldn’t be so bad if they put extra cash puzzles in!
21 pages of Slimming World recipes, stories (which I never read) why can’t the editors wait until they have enough stories etc, and then issue a Slimming World special?
I’m too old to do diets, I’ll just ignore that part of the mag……

I agree, going to cut back on buying mags apart from Take a Break which has good puzzles.
I didn’t buy Bella this week. Trying to put on weight after losing it whilst in hospital so don’t need to diet and no extra puzzles. My Weekly double edition too so not buying that.

I have still been sending the email answers you very kindly supply weekly and have none returned to me, so I’m not sure if the email entry is reinstated or not !!

I did the week before last and nothing has bounced back to me, but have not tried last weeks, I will try later and hopefully it will be ok ( unless they have opened a new folder for all the emails and they go straight into it…..probably thinking look at these daft people still sending us emails !!) I just thought I’d try , so I entered via email on Saturday and haven’t had any bounce back to say not accepted . A few weeks ago when I entered they did bounce back saying not accepted. so guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Are people still having problems with email entries? I have entered and have no problems, not been declined ( as yet) hoping that they have had a rethink on people entering other ways than emails.
Postage is getting farcical, extortionate prices, and almost no guarantee that post will arrive on time!

Has anyone finished the Waitrose Weekend Crossword 689? I make the answer CLOVE but this isn’t one of the options! (CHOPS CROWN STEAK SHANK). I can’t see that I’ve made a mistake but would like a second opinion.

Sent mine today and they have bounced back not delivered.
My email came back too 24 hours later. While I’m here, does anybody know the layout if posting on a postcard. The Address on the Front? And The Answer on the rear with my name & telephone number I’m guessing. Many Thanks if anyone could advise.

They are NOT accepting E mail entries any more. TESXT and Post Cards only texts are £1.50 so £4.50 for all 3 stamps going up April 1st so 1st class will be needed making it no cheaper will not be entering these anymore, thanks for posting though.
Maybe we should have a collection for the SUN newspaper if they are so hard up!!!
On the entryform in the Sun its only got about sending, where did you see a text number, its not accepting emails, probably want to make sure only people buying sun are entering
I have just sent my answers through now, it didn’t say there was a problem but if you do have to start paying I will just stop buying the paper. I don’t have any other reason to buy it.
Mine just bounced — The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.
As at 12.50pm today 02/03/24 E-mails to Saturday Sun rejecting address not found. Hopefully gets resolved
