Sticky spicy chicken wings
Lovely tasty finger food, ideal if you have a house full and you have prepared in advance. Add as much or as little chilli sauce as you prefer, we like it hot!
Ingredients:
- chicken wings …obviously
- 2tbsp soy sauce
- 4tbsp honey
- 2tbsp oil
- 2tbsp tomato sauce/ketchup
- chilli sauce to suit
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°/FAN 160°/GAS 4
I find it easier to marinate in a bag, its just quicker to clean up. Place a food bag over a bowl that’s big enough to hold your chicken wings. Then add all of the ingredients and toss in the chicken wings.
Give everything a good squidge around making sure the top of the bag is tied!
Leave to marinate for an hour or more if you want to and then tip all of the contents into a heatproof dish and place in the oven.
Cook for 30 minutes and remove from the oven so that you can give everything a good stir to ensure its all cooking evenly.
Place back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes, scoop out the chicken from the sauce. You can save the sauce to dip the chicken in, it will keep in the fridge for 3 days 🙂
