Simple zipper purse

This is a fun little purse that I made for my granddaughter Lola. It is made from just a length of ribbon a zip and a keyring!

It is really so simple to do I thought I would share it with you 🙂

What you need:

• Ribbon any length you want, the longer it is the bigger the purse! The piece I used was 16″ (41cm)
• A zipper the same length as your ribbon.
• A keyring (optional)
• A spare piece of ribbon for the loop for the keyring if using

How to do it:

• Lay out your ribbon so it’s nice and flat and open the zip at its fullest.
• Fold over approximately 2″ (5cm) of the ribbon and start pinning the zip on from this point.
• Follow the ribbon all the way around pinning it as you go until you reach where you started.
• Sew into place and zip it up to check where you want your keyring loop
• Sew your loop with key ring into place and hey presto you have a lovely little purse!
