Roller blind make-over
This isn’t strictly painting but it is art!
This is a project that my granddaughter Lola kindly created for me to put the finishing touches to my craft room.
I had purchased a basic white blackout roller blind from Ikea and she was going to spruce it up for me, and my goodness she certainly did that. I LOVE IT!
As we live at the seaside she based her art on that theme.
Firstly, she drew the design in pencil and when she was happy with everything she went over it with Sharpie fine point permanent markers.
It is such a pleasure to work in the craft room with my super duper colourful blind.
It really cheers me up and put’s a smile on my face every time I roll it down!
